These early experiences inspired her to create her own interview show, Purpose TV, where she developed a deep appreciation for post-production—eventually mastering video editing and production, which became the foundation of Purpose Productions.

In 2013, she expanded her creative work with the launch of Purpose Photography. Her excellence in visual storytelling earned her Photographer of the Year (2017) and Producer of the Year (2018) honors at the Featured Highlight Awards, and she is also a published photographer.

​

In 2020, Kisha entered radio broadcasting as the host of Sensual Seductions. When the station went on hiatus, she transformed that moment into opportunity by launching Onyx Urban Radio—an internet-based station dedicated to uplifting the Black community through independent music and podcast programming. In 2022, she expanded further with the launch of Onyx Urban Magazine, where she served as Editor-in-Chief, publisher, writer/interviewer, production manager, and graphic designer, supported by a team of writers focused on culture, creativity, and community. That same year, she founded the Onyx Urban Media Awards to honor independent artists.

Her storytelling journey continued into film in 2023 with her short film All My Might: A Story of Domestic Violence, which won Best Drama at the Spring Lane Film Festival, marking a powerful and personal milestone.

​

In 2024, Kisha launched Onyx Urban Apparel, a lifestyle brand, and hosted the second Onyx Urban Media Awards, expanding recognition to DJs, producers, venues, and community contributors within the local music ecosystem.

​

As her personal journey deepened, so did her purpose.

Kisha has officially stepped into her role as a Spiritual Life Minister and Founder of Becoming Whole and Kalèa Ashè Holistic Wellness...two aligned spaces created to support emotional healing, spiritual awareness, and personal transformation.

​

This was not a title she pursued, but a calling she answered.

​

Through her own life experiences, healing, and growth, she recognized that people need more than conversation...they need safe, intentional spaces to feel, release, and reconnect with themselves. While she does not align with any specific religion or doctrine, she honors a higher creative force and the wisdom shared across many spiritual teachings, guiding individuals to form their own personal connection with truth, self, and source.

Through Becoming Whole, she leads a movement centered on inner healing, emotional release, and conscious growth. Through Kalèa Ashè Holistic Wellness, she offers more intimate, guided support through grounding, awareness, and restorative practices that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

​

In alignment with this evolution, Kisha intentionally transitioned her brand to Onyx Urban Enterprises LLC, making the conscious decision to release several previous ventures...including Onyx Films & Photography, the Onyx Urban Awards Show, and Onyx Urban Magazine...to create space for this next chapter. These chapters were fulfilled with purpose, and their completion marks not an ending, but a transformation.

Today, her work stands at the intersection of media, healing, and purpose.

Kisha is deeply honored to walk in alignment with her calling and remains grateful for every person who has supported her journey. She continues to create, lead, and serve with intention...helping others move beyond survival, reconnect with their inner power, and return to a state of wholeness.
